I'm not.

My brother, the one who lives in Sioux City, bought me some Tropical BING bars, which have a pineapple flavor center.

Sounds icky, right?

Well, I have found them to be refreshing. The pineapple flavor is smooth, and the chocolate-peanut covering complements the pineapple, even bringing it out some.

Now, my brother can't find these all the time, but when he does, he grabs a few for those of us who like them. I need to point out that these bars are not available in all stores--he can only find them at the Palmer Candy Company--and they are not always in stock.

However...

I LOVE THEM.

Jeff does not.

That's a good thing.

There's more for me!!

I just tried a Tropical Bing last night, and I liked it. I live in L.A., so I always ask my parents in NE to send me Twin Bings a couple of times a year. I get so nostalgic for Midwestern foods: Twin Bings, Dorothy Lynch salad dressing, Cooper's pancake mix. This limited-edition bar from Palmer is a nice change from the norm.

I couldn't live without the Dorothy Lynch.

Taco Salad wouldn't be the same!
