So, my cake class is now done. However, the members of our group and our instructor exchanged phone numbers and plan to get together once a month to share techniques, etc.
This is a pink fondant covered cake with a 'scarf' and white gum paste daisies with a gum paste center that was painted pink with glitter dust. I placed edible glitter over the top of the cake as well.
I'm sad that all of the courses are over--yet relieved that after 4 months I don't have to make a cake or prepare frosting every week.
